    The first hotel in Port d’Alcúdia went up around 1930. Mass tourism arrived in the 1970s. The municipality now has more than 30,000 hotel beds.

    In summer there is a night market from Wednesday to Saturday.

    Alcudiamar marina

    A marina with 745 permanent berths and 182 for visitors, taking boats from 6 to 30 metres, at the start of the Victòria peninsula.

    What they don't tell you
    In October 2025 it published the book “The story of a port, the dream of a town”, based on interviews with thirty people who lived through the transformation of the area over the last fifty years.

    Commercial dock

    The second largest port in the Balearics after Palma. It already served Roman Pol·lèntia, and Charles III restored it for international trade in 1779. Daily ferries to Menorca.

    What they don't tell you
    The coal power station built here in the 1950s moved to Es Murterar, the last coal plant Endesa kept running anywhere in Spain. The bay is going from coal to zero emissions in real time, and this carriage is heading the same way.
